All purpose brining recipe for pork, chicken, turkey, duck or anything that requires a brine. Makes the meat moist and delicious when cooked!
Mix together the following:
2 Cups Apple Juice
3/4 Cup “It’s My Rub!” Smooth Blend
1/4 Cup Kosher salt
1 Cup Water then enough cool water to cover meat
Directions:
Heat the mixture in a small boiler with the cup of water and mix until well blended. Do not boil. Add enough cold water to mixture so that it becomes cool. Add the mixture to the container that you intend to brine the meat in. Next, add the meat and then add enough water to cover the meat.
Standard Brine without “IT’s My Rub!”
2 Cups Apple Juice
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Kosher salt
1 Cup Water then enough cool water to cover meat
Use the same directions as above.
These recipes are great for brining any meat. We use this on pork chops, pork ribs, pulled pork, chicken breasts, turkey and with anything else that needs to be brined.
